Hi, I'm Cara.
We all have a passion. This is mine! I'm an Instructional Designer. I love the journey of learning as much as the final destination. I create products to explain, display, and present information in impactful ways.
I have a passion for the process of learning and how people digest information. I even went back to school to study adult learning theories. In addition, I gained new skills that enable my creations to inform and motivate people. I have many years of experience in education, coaching, training adults, and identifying how people 'take in' material. I earned a Master of Science in Instructional Design and Adult Learning. And I’ve been learning ever since.
My Lense on Learning
As an experienced educator, my work is founded in goals and objectives. Learning can be improved and inspired through design features, images, and interactivity.
The learning product needs to be enjoyable, relevant, and interesting.
It also needs to be accessible.
Incorporating accessibility features as part of design is important to invite everyone to participate. Many features use recommendations from WCAG to improve accessibility for users and remove barriers.
